These have been known to get lost and look fairly insignificant. However, they lend a great deal of rigidity to the caliper body and if missing, may lead to a spongy feel at the brake lever. We manufacture replacements in stainless steel or original aluminium anodised in a colour of your choice to special order. Please note that the anodiser needs a batch to treat so this option can lead to a delay of up to four weeks. If colour is your thing, your best plan may be to use stainless steel and caliper paint.
