When asked by Joan Sims in Carry on up the Jungle why giraffes have such long necks, Frankie Howerd replied that it was because their heads are so far from their bodies.
And so it is with throttle cables. When you have a trike made to carry two people plus luggage and the family dog on long haul trips, the engine is naturally going to be a long way from the throttle control. That is where we come in. Any length can be accommodated with any ends, so tying up the Dellorto fuel injection on this one with a twistgrip was no problem.
