Refurbished Pretech 6 piston P812 caliper, Triumph Thruxton fitting and outer body engraved with 'Thruxton' on aluminium face. The rest of the caliper is in black finish. This has been overhauled in our own workshop with replacement piston and gallery seals, blueprinted mating faces, new body fasteners, (rare) anti-rattle spring and pad retaining pins.

The caliper has undergone a seven day pressure test with no traces of leaks, and is in 'unused' condition. Fitted with zero miles Brembo sintered pads, it is ready to bolt on and go (or stop).

Pretech calipers are getting hard to find since the manufacturers closed down 5 years ago now, even more so in this condition. The design may be over 30 years old but they still stop bikes incredibly well and still look bang up to date too. This will grace the fork leg of any Triumph Thruxton, providing solid, confidence inspiring braking with great feel when used in combination with a master cylinder of between 15mm and 17mm bore, depending on how much travel you prefer.
