Electricity is all very well as long as it is going from where you expect to where you would wish and making the expected things happen.  With this range of switches, for standard or modified bikes, you can control what goes on or off at what time.  You too can be master of the electrons!  It is not quite at the level of James T Kirk walking up to the wall, slapping his chest and saying "Computer, make me an ice cream sundae", then all of a sudden turning into an ice cream sundae, but at least at our level, there are no such interpretation difficulties. You turn on the left hand indicator and the lamps start to flash, press the start button and the engine turns over.  Keep it simple...
